Global Biodiversity Genomics Conference
The Smithsonian Institute for Biodiversity Genomics (SIBG) and BGI are co-organizing the inaugural Global Biodiversity Genomics Conference to be held in Washington, D.C. USA from February 21-23, 2017 at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History. Hotel and Travel information
The conference will have sessions focusing on a broad array of relevant topics, including presentations and discussions of critical technological and analytical tools and sessions oriented around broad taxonomic groups (e.g. plants, vertebrates, invertebrates, and microbes) planned in conjunction with groups such as Genome 10K, Global Invertebrate Genomics Alliance, and i5K Genome Sequencing Initiative for Insects and Other Arthropods.
Sessions are planned to include invited speakers as well as selected talks and posters from applicants, including students. Pre-Registration and Abstract Submission Deadline: December 15, 2016. Attendees will be limited to 450 people.
